Fall is here and I am so happy! Early fall is my favorite time of year – just when the weather turns crisp and we start wearing jackets and drinking hot chocolate. As a bookworm, I also love curling up with a book by the fire. If you’re in need of new reads to keep you busy, you’re in luck: October has a plethora of amazing books coming out!
For this list, I’ve aimed to include a variety of genres and authors. There is some nonfiction and a few memoirs, and even some novellas and short story collections. Among the novels, there is a range in genre – from literary fiction to fantasy to romance – and of course several spooky stories. I also love to be whisked away to faraway lands, so the settings have range, too: Japan, Kenya, Haiti, Ukraine, and more. These are diverse reads – in every sense of the word – and I hope something here will pique your interest! Here are 38 exciting new books set for publication in October 2021.
